Tip of the Hat

I got a sunburn on my nose today.

It was not at all a pleasant experience and as I soothed the burn with some lotion, I thought, "how can this be avoided in the midst of the hot Texas summer sun?"

and suddenly, the thought came to me. Get a hat, silly.

I think hats can be such a cute addition to a stylish outfit and fedoras and straw hats have become a serious fashion trend for this season.

Large-brimmed straw hats are another exceptional option and can get you even more coverage on the beach or anytime you are outside. (GREAT for pale people like me). Sigh. Cloches. I especially love this design of hat because of it's bell shape. You saw many woolen ones worn this winter but I love that Urban Outfitters has taken the shape and made it out of breathable straw from summer. Brilliant!
